Returns & Refunds
We want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy applies to orders placed with Barely Sensible and delivered within the United Kingdom.
Change-of-Mind Returns
If you change your mind about an online purchase, you can tell us that you wish to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it. You then have a further 14 days to return the item after telling us that you wish to cancel.
To request a return, please contact us at info@barelysensible.com before sending the item back.
Items should be returned in their original condition and, where applicable, with their original packaging. You may inspect an item as you reasonably would in a shop, but if handling beyond this reduces its value, we may be entitled to make an appropriate deduction from the refund.
Unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the item.
Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items
Please check your order when it arrives and contact us as soon as possible if an item is damaged, faulty or you have received the wrong product.
We will work with you to resolve the issue and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement, refund or return at no cost to you.
Your statutory rights are not affected by this policy.
Exchanges
If you would like a different product, the simplest option is to return the original item and place a separate order for the replacement once your return has been agreed.
Refunds
Once we have received your returned item, or you have provided evidence that it has been returned where applicable, we will process any refund due within 14 days.
Approved refunds will be made to your original payment method.
For eligible change-of-mind cancellations, we will also refund the standard delivery charge originally paid. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, any additional cost above our standard delivery service does not have to be refunded.
Your bank or card provider may take additional time to show the refund after we have processed it.
